Discreet DNA Testing

DNA Bioservices appreciates that some of their clients find difficulty in obtaining a mouth swab sample and so would prefer to submit a discreet sample instead. By testing such samples as a toothbrush, chewing gum, hair, licked stamps, blood and other body fluids, the laboratory is able to potentially create a DNA profile and compare it if necessary to another profile obtained from a discreet sample or mouth swab sample. Discreet samples can be used when ordering any of our relationship tests and for infidelity cases.

DNA Profiling can be performed on:

Chewing gum
Licked stamps
Plucked Hair samples (with roots intact and a minimum of 5 strands)
Razor shavings
Toothbrushes
Cigarette butts
Bodily fluid stains
Earwax on cotton tips
Nasal discharge
Finger and toe nail clippings

2. Follow our easy instructions to collect the cheek cell specimens from the individuals to be included in the analysis using the mouth swabs provided in the kit. Place the dried discreet specimen (e.g., toothbrush, earwax cotton tips, hair) into a paper envelope . If the special specimen is moist do not place into a plastic bag until the item has completely dried. NOTE: Results obtained from specimens collected at home are not strongly supported in a court of law.

3. Send payment and the samples for analysis to DNA Bioservices as instructed. Results usually take between 5 to 10 business days .
